It’s shopping, eating, and ice skating all in one place!
Ice skating in the beautiful locale of Bryant Park, while the Chrysler and the Empire state Building look down on you.
We passed it so many times and this time I really wanted to go on the ice.
My husband decided not to go with me, unfortunately, but I still had fun. I loved the feeling of skating in this very charming area, tucked in the middle of midtown skyscrapers.
After a few rounds and a marry proposal in front of me, we walked through the Winter Village and checked out the stores and little places you can eat something. It wasn’t too crowded luckily, maybe because we went after Christmas. The stores were very unique and I loved the music in the background. The music is classic, like oldies type.
The ambiance is nice with a lot of kids and tourists, and natives, who are out for a good time.
It’s a New York City Holiday Experience for sure.
*Bryant Park is situated behind the New York Public Library in midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
Winter Village at Bryant Park is open from late October to early March
